This is the first, and a required, meeting of the Embodied Communication Learning & Exploration Group.
This is the beginning of a longer journey together.
If you are intrigued, please read through this whole event notice. Please share your intention to attend to Victoria at EmbodimentLLC@gmail.com by February 27.2020.

These sessions are open to anyone who engages in relationship with others and would like a life practice that supports slowing down, staying present with sensations, noticing patterns of response (internal and external) and learning ways to act/move/speak with more awareness. With the support of outside reading material as well as self- and group- exploration in thought and movement, we will discover and deepen our tools of observation, choice and self-soothing.

This group is being called together by and will be loosely facilitated by Victoria Day. Embodied Living is what she calls her ever-evolving approach to self-awareness and self-care. It is a process of inquiry inspired by her work as a Laban Movement Analyst, influenced by her studies of various somatic traditions, including Bartenieff's Movement Fundamentals, Aposhyan's BodyMind Psychotherapy and Ragone’s BodyIntelligence , and informed by her experience working with individuals and groups within a trauma-informed, resiliency-focused framework and in processing her own life experiences. Although Victoria is also a licensed professional counselor, she will be leading this group in her role as a trauma-informed, resiliency-focused Certified Movement Analyst.

This group will be open to a limited number of interested individuals committed to meet in a regular fashion. The frequency and timing of when we meet will be decided by the people in the group as part of our practice of Embodied Communication.
The cost of this event is suggested to be $25; however, the scale is sliding. All proceeds go to the facilitator for her time and for rental of the space.
The cost of this group going forward will be determined by the members of the group at our first meeting.
