DanceWalk opportunity: Columbia Walk to End Alzheimer's

  • Cosmos Park - Lamb Shelter Columbia, MO (map)

The Alzheimer Association was formed in 1980 to advance research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease.  It is their mission to bring us all together to end Alzheimer’s disease.
From my various studies, personal reading and work with folks with dementia, I KNOW the importance of conscious, energized, non-standard forms of movement in enhancing one’s quality of life and plasticity of brain matter!  Move it or you lost it, folks!

 DanceWalk is a
FUN experience where people meet in Community, where Art meets Exercise, where Walking joins Dancing to make moving anywhere we go just a little more FUN!   DanceWalk was inspired by this video and like so many folks around the world, some of us in Columbia gravitated to it with glee!  We even have a Facebook group you can visit here!

Although DanceWalk CoMo hasn't been too active recently, we are breaking out the mobile sound system and inviting YOU to join with us to have some fun and support a good cause!  The Columbia Walk to End Alzheimer's!

If you would like to help me organize, please contact me directly at EmbodimentLLC@gmail.com  I would love to do create this with a group of excited folks!

If you would like to donate or join the team, please click HERE to be taken directly to the team page!

Thank you so much for your support!
