Mindful Move Groove is an invitation to moving more mindfully and joyfully. It is a safe space to expand yours choices of movement.
Beginners and all levels of movement abilities welcome!
Mindful Move Groove is accessible and beneficial to a wide range of people - even those who believe they can't "dance." MMG can be done standing or seated, whichever works best for the individual mover!
Each MMG starts with a gentle somatic warm-up inspired by an intention . The warm-up is always followed by fun, more choreographed movement to upbeat, familiar music. We end each MMG with some loving self-care, so important in our daily practice!
All the moves we make in MMG are designed to enhance resilience, strength, balance, mood and body awareness without high speed or high intensity movement.
Although we often play with a body of familiar choreographic work and music, each session is also unique and appropriate for any new-comers because Victoria adjusts the material on the fly to meet the needs and the interests of the participants present.

$10 drop-in/please arrive by 12:45 to pay at the register at Heart, Body and Soul. This is a HBS hosted event; however, Victoria is available to offer this movement form in other locations and with other populations.
