Join with the Mandala Community Movement Project as we gather together to create participatory movement art and ritual in honor of the essential element of Water. This creation, entitled With the Water, is part three of our local 2023 exploration of embodying the elements!
We are creating this event in conjunction with Global Water Dances! On this day, we will be dancing in honor of Water with thousands of people at over three hundred different sites around the world. https://globalwaterdances.org/about-us/
The event will start at 3 p.m.
Those folks who want to BE a part of the ritual movement creation need to be on the south end of the Rock Bridge/Devil’s Ice Box parking lot by 2:30 p.m. No experience necessary! This is a fun and easy way to create community movement art! Dress in colors and/or fabric that inspire the feeling of water!!
Audience members can take part and observe this event by taking the board walk to where it meets the downstream part of the Rock Bridge. Arrive by 3 p.m. so you don’t miss anything!
