As part of the City of Columbia’s Parks and Recreation offerings, I will be offering a two-hour introductory workshop exploring embodiment and somatic movement. This is an incredibly affordable and fun way for everyone to expand their understanding of these topics whether you have any knowledge of them or not.
The official description is as follows:
Embodiment is more than a current buzzword!
It is a way of living life that supports and promotes spiritual, physical and mental health.
Please join me, Mid-Missouri’s only ISMETA registered somatic movement therapist and educator, for this educational and experiential workshop. It is designed to guide participants in a safe and enlivening inquiry of the practice of embodiment. It can be taken as a stand-alone workshop or as part of the series of offerings, as the material will always be new and relevant to the participants that are taking part, as well as repeat of foundational embodiment concepts.
