Workshop in DC - Wild Women Gathering

Janel & Mariah Miranda welcome Victoria of Embodiment LLC into her home for an intimate women-only event focused on movement, intention, and community.

A somatic movement therapist and an artist & therapist, two very old friends, combine their specialties & passion for women with the photographic talents of one young woman - to create together a WILD WOMEN GATHERING!

What is a wild women gathering? It’s a participatory gathering facilitated by Vic with the intention to "create women defined space. They involve, in some form, the following elements: women and/or girls, empowerment, art, embodiment, conversation, emotional exchange, energy raising, food, and connection."

Expectations of this event will be left open-ended based on who arrives, so if you’re unsure but still curious about joining come on over!   Your presence helps form the contents of the evening!  Come meet Vic and move with us.

Bring a question, an intention, a burden of your heart ... and get the triple trifecta: Move it in your body in a safe community of women led by Vic.

Janel will do a few soul portrait drawings of the collective experience (www.calminthechaosbook.com), and you will get a copy of it. You can color or paint or meditate upon it.

Mariah will be providing studio portraits to be a part of her new intuitive photography series I am working on.  http://www.mariahmiranda.com/

Door opens at 7 pm.  Contact Victoria at EmbodimentLLC@gmail.com for location specifics  in Washington DC.

Dress for comfort in moving.

We will start the movement portion of the evening whenever everyone has arrived and is ready, around 7:30 pm. Be here by then to get the full experience. It will be an open process of movement in and out of our Wild Women circle. It's a school night and Vic flies home on Tuesday, so fun is over at 10.
